Description
VesterbyCrea.No.50.CrossOver is a crossover vest worked in pattern stitch. The vest is worked top-down. The yoke begins with the back piece, which is worked flat in pattern stitch with increases on both sides. The fronts are then worked one at a time, with increases to shape the slanted front edges in opposite directions. After shaping, the fronts are joined to the back, and the body is worked flat with continued pattern stitch and increases at the front edges. The body is finished with a tubular bind-off. The ribbed edge along the fronts and neck is worked by picking up stitches, knitting back and forth in rib, and finishing with a tubular bind-off. Two buttons are sewn on – one on the rib edge and one on the front. The vest is seamless.

Stockinette stitch with 1 strand on 4.5 mm needles: 18 sts / 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Pattern: 16 sts / 24 rows = 7 x 9 cm
