VesterbyCrea.No.31.Cardigan is a cable cardigan based on the VesterbyCrea.No.31 sweater. The cardigan is worked top-down. At the beginning of the yoke, the back is worked flat with cables and increases on each side. The front pieces are worked one at a time from picked-up stitches along the top edge of the back. Increases on each front piece shape the cardigan’s neckline. The front pieces are joined to the back, and cables are then worked flat across the yoke. The body is finished with a ribbed hem using the Icelandic bind-off. Sleeves are picked up along the armholes and worked in the round with cables, finished with ribbing and an Italian tubular bind-off. Stitches are picked up along the front edges to work a ribbed button band. Six buttons are sewn onto the band. The cardigan is seamless.

Stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles: 16 sts / 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm
