Strikkeweekend – Ærø
Nyd en weekend dedikeret til strikningens æstetik og hygge med fuld forplejning på Ærø Hotel (3 dage – 2 nætter). Sted: Ærø Hotel – Egehovedvej 4 | 5960 Marstal. Med Theas baggrund i at genfinde sig selv efter flere stressnedbrud vil hun fortælle om hendes åbenbaring ved at lære at strikke – som gav hendes nedsmeltede hjerne en kickstart. En oplevelse af, at hun fandt en vej til at genskabe aktivitet og energi i hendes hjerne ved at læse og strikke mønsterstrik. Thea har altid haft en matematisk tilgang til alt hvad hun har beskæftiget sig med. Lige fra koderne bag et website til et regneark med et budget og to-do-lister. Den matematiske hjerne har dog altid fulgtes ad med et kreativt og meget visuelt element. To meget forskellige poler der nogle gange havde det svært at mødes.

Nyd en uge i Yorkshire med strik sammen med Annas Højskole (8 dage – 7 nætter). Sted: The Cairn Hotel, Ripon Rd, Harrogate HG1 2JD, Storbritannien Det bliver en uge med strik, uld, Yorkshire, godt selskab og masser af inspiration – fra får til garn og fra strikkepindene ud i landskabet.

Strik på Læsø – Annas Højskole
Nyd en uge med strik på Læsø på Annas Højskole (5 dage – 6 nætter). Sted: Østergård Kultur Bed & Breakfast, Museumsvej 2, 9940 Læsø, Denmark Læsø og stik har vist sig at være en genial kombination. Naturen og stilheden indbyder til at sætte sig i en læ-krog med pindene fremme. For ikke at tale om den historie Læsø har med uld, garnspinderi og strikkeklubber.

VesterbyCrea.No.50 Crossover
A crossover top featuring a textured stitch pattern.
That was the idea from the very beginning. Initially, I imagined a design that could be tied, but as the design evolved, I realised that buttons would work much better – allowing you to place them exactly where you prefer.
I wanted to create a design for the Danish magazine Alt for Damerne, and I had a particular wish to make a summer knit using Isager's Alpaca 3, a yarn I had wanted to work with for a long time. So this design became my contribution to their knitting supplement, published in June 2025.
The pattern features a repeating textured stitch pattern that runs throughout the entire piece. I have created individual charts for each size using Stitch Fiddle.
This gives you the option to download and print the chart for your chosen size, or to follow the pattern directly in Stitch Fiddle, where you can also keep track of your progress as you knit.

Since I have published my new website 4th of November 2026 you may not be able to use the link from your original order.

When you buy yarn
The yarn you order here will be shipped directly to you from the LANGYARNS warehouse in Germany. I do not keep any physical stock myself, but I can order all yarns from LANGYARNS.
If you are looking for a yarn that I haven’t featured here, please feel free to contact me at info@vesterbycrea.dk.
I order the Bramble & Fleece yarn you purchase from their German distributor. I keep some of their yarn in stock and can ship it immediately. Other yarns need to be ordered and delivered to me before I can forward them to you.
The stock availability shown reflects the yarn I physically have in stock at my own premises.
